  • Hear the word church, Karen (guest) wrote 11 years ago:
No this was not a school, This land was barren land, situated on the Borrowdale Road. This impressive building "Hear the Word Church " was financed by Pastor Tom Duesche and his congregation. Financed in very trying economical times, All donations were based on faith-N.B. Donations not from the 'rich rollers" as someone put it, these were donations from devoted ordinary men and women of God, who dug deep into their pockets. Donations from a Faith filled congregation. I know, I was there at it's conception,as well as it's auspicious grand opening! FAITH CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS!!! . Karen
